BELLEVILLE — Two individuals claim they suffered injuries in a March car crash in Belleville.
Joseph P. Adams and Angela D. Adams filed a complaint on April 18 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Credible Exteriors LLC and Randy L. Jackson Jr., alleging Credible Exteriors failed to properly train its driver to operate a truck in a careful manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on March 17, they were injured when the vehicle they were riding in on North Belt East near the intersection of Carlyle Avenue in Belleville was struck by a truck being driven by Jackson. Jackson was employed by Credible Exteriors at the time of the accident.
The plaintiffs claim they suffered pain, lost wages and permanent disability and will be obligated to expend money for future medical expenses.
The plaintiffs allege Jackson was under the influence of intoxicating liquors; failed to observe and obey traffic signaling devices, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop, slow or swerve to avoid the collision.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages in excess of $50,000 plus costs of this suit.
They are represented by Brad L. Badgley of Brad L. Badgley PC in Belleville.
