Reinhold Electric says Jet Enterprises failed to pay nearly $70K for finished work

Late 07

BELLEVILLE — An electrical maintenance company is suing a Sauget business, citing alleged breach of contract by failing to pay for completed work.

Reinhold Electric Inc., of St. Louis, filed a complaint last month in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jet Enterprises and Holding LLC, alleging that the defendant failed to comply with the contract to pay plaintiff for the completed work as agreed by both parties.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April 2016, plaintiff entered into a contract with the defendant whereby plaintiff agreed to provide certain work, labor and materials to the defendant's property. Plaintiff alleges that after completing the work required under the contract, it failed to receive the remaining balance amounting to $69,500.

The plaintiff holds Jet Enterprises responsible because it allegedly failed to fulfill its contractual obligations and failed to pay the remaining balance owed for the completed work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for the amount of $69,500, together with attorney's fees, costs of action and for such other and further relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Andrew M. Lammert of McCarthy, Leonard, and Kaemmerer LC in Town and Country, Mo.
