Beneficiary sues trustee for East Alton property

BELLEVILLE — A woman sues the trustee of a living trust for allegedly failing to transfer an East Alton property she claims she is entitled to.

Lillie Clark filed a complaint on March 20 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Marlon Foster, trustee of The Harlon B. Young Living Trust, alleging she failed to perform her obligation under the terms of the trust.

According to the complaint, Clark alleges Foster has failed to transfer real estate property located at 1707 Wilford Ave. in East Alton, which is valued at $175,000, even though the demand for transfer has been made.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the sum of $175,000, costs incurred for this suit and such other relief as this court deems just and proper.

The plaintiff is represented by Steven S. Fluhr of Fluhr and Moore LLC in St. Louis.
