A man is suing a Troy motorist, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
Jason Davidson filed a complaint on Nov. 14, in the Madison County Circuit Court against Judith Mussatto, alleging she breached her duty to operate her vehicle in a safe manner to protect others on the road.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 11 he was traveling westbound on Highway 270 when Mussatto, who was operating a motor vehicle in the same direction, negligently struck the rear of his vehicle.
As a result, he claims he was injured in the collision.
The plaintiff alleges Mussatto failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to reduce speed or stop and failed to keep her vehicle under proper control.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation in an amount that is fair and reasonable in excess of $100,000, plus costs expended for this action and all other relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by George H. Albers of Roth Law Offices LLC in Granite City.
