BELLEVILLE — Providence Bank alleges it suffered monetary loss when two defendants failed to make monthly payments.
Providence Bank filed a complaint on Oct. 20 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jeffrey and Jacqueline Thomas, alleging that they are in default of a promissory note.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that as a successor-in-interest, it has suffered monetary losses for not receiving all rents, issues and profits due.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly defaulting on their obligations to make monthly payments when due.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order requiring that all rents, issues and profits, including those past due and unpaid, be paid directly to the plaintiff until the borrowers are no longer in default of their obligations under the note, an award for all costs for this action and such other relief as the court deems proper.
