Late 03

EDWARDSVILLE — A China-based storage rack manufacturer is suing a Madison distributor, alleging it owes more than $311,000 for breach of contract.

JRacking (China) Storage Solutions, doing business as Nanjing Jiangrui Storage Equipment, doing business as Nanjing JRacking International Ltd., filed a lawsuit Aug. 29 in Madison County Circuit Court against U.S. Storage Group LLC, alleging failure to to comply with its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff filled U.S. Storage Group's orders but the balance of $311,136.51 remains unpaid. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has not made any complaints about the warehouse shelves and storage racks sold by the plaintiff but has failed and refused to pay the remaining amount due.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, compensatory damages of $311,136.51, costs of suit and all other relief the court finds just and equitable. It is represented by attorneys Mark S. Schuver and Laura E. Schrick of Mathis, Marifian & Richter Ltd. in Belleville.
