Travelers insurance alleges construction firm owes $58,000

EDWARDSVILLE — Travelers insurance is suing a construction company, alleging it owes more than $58,000. 

Travelers Property Casualty Company of America filed a lawsuit July 22 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Zole LLC, doing business as Dana Howard Construction, alleging failure to comply with workers compensation insurance policies.

According to the complaint, Travelers alleges it conducted a physical audit on Dana Howard's business to ascertain the accuracy of the premium being charged. The suit says the plaintiff determined the total premium due under the workers compensation insurance policies was $58,783. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to pay the premium due under the policies.

Travelers Property seeks judgment of $58,783, plus legal costs. It is represented by attorney David Miller of Blitt and Gaines PC in Wheeling.
