EDWARDSVILLE — An Edwardsville man is suing a driver over injuries allegedly sustained in a vehicle collision.
Alex D. Rosenberger filed a lawsuit April 29 in Madison County Circuit Court against Marquel D. Williams, alleging negligence.
On June 16, 2015, the suit states, Rosenberger was driving eastbound on Illinois Route 157 at Meridian in Edwardsville when he was rear-ended by Williams' vehicle.
The suit alleges Williams was negligent in failing to keep a proper lookout, failing to keep his vehicle under proper control, speeding, and other negligent acts or omissions.
As a result, Rosenberger allegedly sustained injuries to his head, neck, back, and limbs, for which he has incurred medical expenses.
Rosenberger seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs of the suit. He is represented by attorney James R. Williams of Williams Caponi & Associates in Belleville.
