A Cahokia woman is suing a Millstadt motorist, alleging negligence for injuries she says she sustained in a car crash.
Nasha Underwood filed a lawsuit on Oct. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Stephanie Crane of Millstadt, alleging Crane negligently collided into her vehicle.
According to the complaint, on July 15, 2014, Crane was driving on Frank Scott Parkway near the intersection of Hickory Bend in Cahokia County when she failed to look ahead, failed to yield to traffic stopped at a light and was driving faster than reasonable. These factors caused her to crash into Underwood’s car, causing injuries and leading to medical expenses for the plaintiff, the suit says.
Parmer seeks damages of more than $50,000 including medical expenses and costs of suit. She is represented by attorney Jon E. Rosenstengel of Bonifield & Rosenstengel in Belleville.
