O'Fallon driver sues another motoris over injuries allegedly sustained following I-64 collision

An O'Fallon man is suing a Bridgeton, Mo. man following a vehicle collision on I-64 in St. Clair County.

Kyle Stanton filed a complaint on July 29 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Neal Luther, alleging negligence.

The complaint states that on June 4, Luther's 2015 Acura Integra rear-ended Stanton's 2013 Chevrolet Malibu while the two were driving westbound on I-64 in St. Clair County.

The complaint alleges that Luther failed to keep proper lookout for other vehicles, drove at an unreasonably fast speed, failed to yield to Stanton, and failed to brake his car. As a result of the collision, Stanton sustained temporary and permanent injuries, and has incurred and will incur medical expenses to treat his injuries.

Stanton seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs of the suit. He is represented by Lanny Darr of Darr Firm in Alton.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case number 15-L-430.
