A dump truck driver is suing a woman who allegedly caused him injuries when she rear-ended his truck at an intersection.
Chad Meyer and Chad Meyer Trucking and Excavating Inc. filed a complaint on July 10 in Madison County Circuit Court against Lisa Robinson.
On Aug. 1, 2013, Meyer was driving a dump truck at Fosterburg Road and Interstate 255 in Madison County. As Meyer waited to make a legal right turn, Robinson's vehicle allegedly struck him from behind, causing him to suffer injuries, pain and suffering, and medical expenses, the lawsuit states.
The defendant is accused of failing to use reasonable care, avoid the collision, failing to brake and for causing the accident.
The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $15,000, plus costs.
The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Lee W. Barron and William D. Buchanan in Alton.
