Greensfelder, Hemker & Gales welcomes three new attorneys to its Belleville office

Three attorneys join the St. Louis-based law firm Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale P.C. as associates.

Ann Marie Frey focuses her practice on product liability, mass toxic tort and asbestos litigation.

Before joining the firm, she was an associate at Lucco, Brown, Threlkeld & Dawson LLP in Edwardsville, where she focused on trial and deposition preparation for the asbestos docket in Madison and St. Clair counties.

Frey is a 2010 graduate of the Ave Marie School of Law in Naples, Fla. While in school, Frey worked with an asylum and immigrant rights law clinic, assisting those seeking political and religious asylum from their home countries.

Dominique de Vastey also joins the firm to work in products liability litigation.

Before joining the firm, she was an attorney at Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, P.C. i

Edwardsville. She represented employers and insurers in tort litigation and workers’ compensation law. She focused her practice on products, premises and professional liability actions.

De Vastey is a 2013 graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she was editor in chief of the Midwest Black Law Students Association Law Journal.

During law school, she researched claims of immigration-related unfair employment practices for the U.S. Department of Justice and clerked for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.

De Vastey also interned in South Africa, where she worked with a human rights legal group.

Megha Shah joins the firm with state and federal court experience in complex civil litigation and toxic tort defense.

Before joining the firm, she was an associate at Kurowski Shultz in Belleville, where she worked on complex toxic tort litigation and product liability cases.

Shah is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law. During her time at UNC, she worked with the school’s immigration clinic and as a clerk for a Chicago law firm and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
