A St. Clair County woman is accused of rear-ending another car while driving in Fairview Heights.
Joyal Chapman filed a lawsuit Nov. 28 against Elizabeth Turner in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Chapman says she was driving her Honda Accord south on Old Collinsville Road in February when she was hit from behind by a Mazda 3 being driven by Turner. Chapman says she was hurt in the crash and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and costs of the lawsuit.
Attorney Kevin Boyne of Belleville represents Chapman.
