A woman's lawsuit against Donald Weimer, M.D. and Belleville Orthopedics was dismissed three months after it was filed.
Plaintiff Angela Shaw filed a motion for voluntary dismissal.
St. Clair County Associate Judge Vincent Lopinot ordered the dismissal without prejudice on Aug. 7, 2008. Each party was ordered to bear its own costs.
According to a complaint filed May 12, 2008, in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Shaw claimed she had increased aggravated and exacerbated permanent injuries, disability and pain and suffering while under Weimer's care.
Shaw was represented by Jack A. Strellis of Strellis & Field in Waterloo.
Margaret J. Lowery of Belleville represented the defense.
