Attack in Libya will define president

To the Editor:

I am extremely bothered by the news in Libya. As many of you know I have spent a few years overseas. One of those countries was Kenya (two and a half years) whose embassy was bombed a few years after I left there. I just returned from Kenya and Uganda, stopping by Ethiopia. My wife Victoria and I are expanding our mission project in Kenya with an orphanage.

The president's response to this situation is critical. It will define him once again. It will measure his courage and his love for our country.

If anyone comes into my home by force or even by invitation and they attempt to assault or even disrespect my family I will surely, without a doubt, react violently and purposely to remove them. I will do so because I am obligated to protect them. I will do so because I love them more than anything.

Let's see how this President defends our home. He is obligated to do so.

State Sen. Kyle McCarter (R)
