To the Editor:
When you consider what has happened in both Egypt and Libya, we must begin to consider the consequences of a powerful nation that refuses to exercise that power.
Fear of consequences is why other nations do not act out against American interests. Lack of fear encourages those nations or individuals within those nations to attack American interests (and now American soil, which is what an embassy is).
