A St. Clair County chiropractor is being sued for allegedly not repaying a loan of more than $100,000.

World Business Lenders LLC filed a lawsuit July 12 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Komeshak Chiropractic Ltd., doing business as LiveWell Wellness Centers. Patrick B. Komeshak is also named as a defendant.

According to the complaint, LiveWell Wellness borrowed more than $100,000 from WBL in March and promised to repay the principal, plus interest, with daily payments. The duration of the loan was expected to last until November. WBL alleges Komeshak and his Belleville business are in default for failing to make payments, with a remaining balance of more than $81,000.

WBL claims it has the right to demand repayment of the full unpaid balance. It contends that the amount is now more than $109,000 which includes unpaid interest, returned payment charges and a prepayment charge. WBL seeks to be awarded what it says it is owed plus court fees.

Attorneys Larry E. Hepler and Jason D. Johnson of Edwardsville, represent WBL.
