A St. Clair County woman says she was hurt when she was rear-ended by another driver in East St. Louis.
Lawanda McGlown filed a lawsuit June 27 against Estella Gilliam in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
McGlown says she was driving on Marybelle Avenue in August 2011 when she was allegedly hit from behind by the car being driven by Gilliam. McGlown claims she was seriously injured in the crash and seeks more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and the costs of the lawsuit.
