Car dealership sued over employee's auto accident on I-270

A Madison County car dealership is being sued after one of its employees allegedly rear-ended a driver in Chouteau Township.

Angela Nelson filed a lawsuit May 29 in Madison County Circuit Court against Aaron Head and CTH Enterprises Inc.

The alleged crash happened as Nelson was driving her Ford F150 west on Interstate 270 in October 2010. Near milepost 4, Nelson says she was hit from behind by a Ford Econoline van being driven by Head. The van is owned by Head's employer, CTH Enterprises, according to the petition.

Nelson says she was seriously hurt in the crash and accuses Head and CTH Enterprises of negligence for allegedly causing the injuries. She asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses along with court costs.

Attorney Jane Unsell of Wood River's Unsell & Schattnik law firm is representing Nelson.
