A man claims doctors at Protestant Memorial Medical Center caused him to sustain a broken left leg.
Henry Dinan alleges he was a patient at defendant Protestant Memorial Medical Center in February 2009 when employees at the hospital caused him to sustain a broken left femur.
The broken leg caused Dinan to endure additional medical testing; to incur medical costs; and to experience pain, suffering and disability, according to the complaint filed April 25 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Dinan blames hospital employees for causing his broken leg, saying they negligently used more force than necessary to treat him, used inappropriate methods to care for him and failed to properly consider his medical condition when treating him.
In his complaint, Dinan is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs and other relief the court deems just.
Alan G. Pirtle of Becker, Paulson, Hoerner and Thompson in Belleville will be representing him.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 12-L-214.
