A manufacturers' conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at America's Central Port Warehouse in Granite City.
Presentations will include "New Technology/Customer Focused Innovations," "Next Generation Productivity," Expanding Exports and Market Access," and "Improving Our Manufacturing Infrastructure."
Agencies that will be presenting include: Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC), Southwest Illinois Advanced Manufacturing Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Lewis and Clark Community College, Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board, Selsius Corporate and Career Training at Southwestern Illinois College, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Alliance for Advanced Manufacturing, SOAR, District Export Council, Green Jobs/Green Economy Initiative at SWIC, Saint Louis University Supply Chain Management.
David Boulay, president of IMEC, will present, "Manufacturing is Back."
Richard Louis of Turner Electric in Fairview Heights will discuss, "Manufacturing Success Story."
