A Madison County couple is trying to recoup expenses from a crash they were allegedly involved in while driving in Alton.
George A. and Rosie Buck filed a lawsuit March 12 in Madison County Circuit Court against Gena and Gary Delp.
The alleged crash happened in February 2006 while the Bucks were driving west on Salu Street, according to the complaint. George Buck says he was stopped at the intersection of Humbert Street when Gena Delp, driving east on Salu Street in a car owned by Gary Delp, crashed into him. George and his passenger, Rosie Buck, claim they were seriously hurt in the crash.
The Bucks say they were insured by Madison Mutual Insurance Company at the time of the crash. Under the provisions of their policy, Madison Mutual reportedly paid more than $105,000 to the Bucks for property damage, medical expenses and uninsured motorist coverage. The Bucks and Madison Mutual ask to be reimbursed that amount from the Delps plus court costs.
