A Belleville woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her vehicle.
Hope Houston claims she was driving north on Greenmount Road at its intersection with Cascade Lake Drive in Shiloh on Nov. 22, 2010, when defendant Kayleigh Webb, who was driving behind her, struck the back of her vehicle.
Because of the collision, Houston incurred medical costs, suffered pain and lost her normal life, according to the complaint filed Jan. 18 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Webb negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and drove too fast, the suit states.
In her complaint, Houston is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
Jon E. Rosenstengel of the Law Offices of Bonifield and Rosenstengel in Belleville will be representing her.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 12-L-34.
