The Gallop law firm announced recently that attorney Johnny S. Wang has joined the firm as an associate in its Labor & Employment Law Department.
Wang will focus his practice in areas that include defense of discrimination claims; non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements; ERISA claims; civil litigation and related labor and employment legal matters.
Before joining Gallop, Wang represented domestic and international clients in labor and employment matters in Missouri for a large, Chicago-based law firm. He is conversational in Mandarin, proficient in French and speaks basic Spanish.
Bradley Kafka, chair of Gallop's Labor & Employment Law Department, said, "Johnny S. Wang is an experienced attorney whose expertise in labor and employment law in Missouri and Illinois, and his multi-lingual capabilities, will provide value for our clients in a variety of industries."
Wang is admitted to practice in Missouri and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri and Western District of Missouri; Illinois and U.S. District Court, Southern District of Illinois; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit.
He received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
As an attorney, Wang is involved with the Asian-American business communities in addition to other international and ethnic minority business communities in Missouri and Illinois.
He is president of the Missouri Asian American Bar Association, vice-chairman of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of St. Louis and a member of Leadership 100 for the Regional Business Council.
