A hearing involving Madison County asbestos trial dockets for 2013 will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Circuit Judge Barbara Crowder's courtroom.
Trial dates for 2012 were established earlier this year, allowing for 28 jury weeks.
"We like to be progressive," said Crowder's bailiff Rod Schmidt. "Next year is already in the books, so now we're working on 2013."
Crowder has the asbestos plaintiff firms' proposals in her possession.
According to documents obtained by the Record, the Simmons firm of Alton, which was allotted nine jury weeks for 2011 and 2012, is requesting 10 jury weeks for 2013.
