A woman claims she was pinned to a wall after a patron at a Belleville bar began a fight. Now she is suing the bar for her injuries.

Lenora D. Ackman filed a lawsuit Nov. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Big Daddy's 618.

In her complaint, Ackman claims she was visiting Big Daddy's on July 8 when two intoxicated patrons began a physical altercation.

"A patron was pushed into the table where plaintiff was sitting, smashing the table into plaintiff and pinning her against the wall," the suit states.

Because of the incident, Ackman sustained temporary and permanent injuries, incurred medical costs and was prevented from attending to her normal activities, the complaint says.

In her complaint, Ackman is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.

Lanny Darr of Schrempf, Kelly, Napp and Darr in Alton will be representing her.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 11-L-619.
