A Granite City woman is accused of rear-ending another car and injuring a couple while driving in Madison County.
Ed and Kathy Goclan filed a lawsuit against Andrea Hudzik Oct. 19 in Madison County Circuit Court.
The Goclans say they were driving north on State Route 159 in October 2009 when they were hit from behind by a car driven by Hudzik. Both claim they hurt their necks and backs in the crash.
The Goclans accuse suing Hudzik of negligence for allegedly failing to keep a proper lookout and failing to take the necessary actions to avoid a crash. The couple is asking for more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses, loss of income and court costs.
Attorney William P. Hogan of St. Louis is representing the Goclans.
