A St. Clair County man is suing the driver of the car that allegedly rear-ended him while he was driving in Shiloh.
Jose Hernandez filed the complaint against Dawn R. Booker Oct. 5 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Hernandez says he was driving north on North Greenmount Road in October 2009 when he was hit from behind by Booker. Hernandez claims the impact of the collision caused serious injuries to various parts of his body, including his neck and back.
Hernandez accuses Booker of negligence and is asking her to pay more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court costs.
Attorney Gregory M. Tobin of East Alton is representing Hernandez.
