A St. Clair County woman is suing the driver of a car that allegedly turned in front of her, allegedly causing a crash in Swansea.
Amy E. Wolfe-Hart filed a lawsuit in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Pepper A. Hartney.
According to the petition, Wolfe-Hart was driving west on Frank Scott Parkway in June 2009. As she approached the intersection of Highway 159, Wolfe-Hart says Hartney, driving east, tried to turn left onto Highway 159. Hartney allegedly crashed into Wolfe-Hart.
Wolfe-Hart accuses Hartney of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, loss of income and court fees.
