A St. Clair County woman is suing the driver and owner of a car that she says backed into her in Dupo.
Minnie L. Conway filed the lawsuit June 3 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against John O. Eugea and Kimberley Williamson.
Conway says she was driving her Chevy Cobalt on South Fifth Street in August 2009. Eugea was allegedly driving a Ford Explorer owned by Williamson, missed his turn and stopped along South Fifth Street.
Conway says Eugea put the car in reverse and backed up to turn into the Sugarloaf Township building. Eugea allegedly backed the Explorer into Conway's car, causing injuries to her neck and back.
Conway accuses Eugea and Williamson of negligence and asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical bills and court costs.
Attorney James W. Eason of St. Louis is representing Conway. They ask for a jury trial.
