East St. Louis accident causes injuries, suit says

A driver is suing a woman he says caused a crash in East St. Louis.

Jeremiah Radford filed the lawsuit March 31 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Stephanie Peak.

According to the complaint, Radford and Peak were involved in a traffic crash Feb. 15 at the intersection of Riverpark Drive and Collinsville Avenue in East St. Louis. Radford says he was driving was driving east on Riverpark when Peak turned left in front of him and hit the front of his vehicle.

Radford says the collision caused injuries to his back, neck and shoulder that left with him pain and suffering, extensive medical bills and disability.

Radford accuses Peak of negligence for failing to avoid the collision. He is asking to be paid more than $50,000 in damages along with court costs.

Attorneys Thomas C. Rich and Kristina D. Cooksey, both of Fairview Heights, are representing Radford.
