A Madison County resident has filed suit against the driver who he claims ran a red light, colliding with him.
Travis Raburn claims he was driving his 2002 Saturn on Camelot Dr. at its intersection with Illinois Route 159 in Collinsville on March 3 when the incident occurred.
"At said time and place, the vehicle owned and operated by Defendant, Darvin D. Lochmann, ran a red light and collided in the middle of the intersection with Plaintiff's vehicle and pushed Plaintiff's vehicle into the southbound lanes of Illinois Route 159," the suit states.
Because of the collision, Raburn suffered great pain and anguish, incurred medical costs and lost large sums of money, according to the complaint filed April 14 in Madison County Circuit Court.
In his complaint, Raburn is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
Alvin C. Paulson of Becker, Paulson, Hoerner and Thompson in Belleville will be representing him.
