A Greenville man accuses two men of purposefully swerving a car to try and hit him while he walked along the side of the road.
Shaun Teague filed a lawsuit April 4 in Madison County Circuit Court against Joseph W. Schatte and Cole Campbell.
In the complaint Teague says he was walking along West Bowman Drive in Greenville in April 2010. He alleges Schatte, driving on West Bowman, swerved his car to the side of the road as his passenger, Campbell, opened his door. Teague says he was hit by the door, causing injuries to his neck and lower back.
Teague is suing the two men for negligence and asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees.
