By Andrea Dearden | Apr 7, 2011

A Madison County bank says it is owed more than $766,000 on two loans made to one customer.

First Clover Leaf Bank filed a lawsuit March 24 against Larry M. Joiner in Madison County Circuit Court.

The bank says it executed a loan to Joiner in February 2007 and later amended it in February 2010. First Clover Leaf Bank claims the defendant defaulted on the loan.

First Clover Leaf Bank says it is still owed nearly $690,000, which includes interest and late fees.

The bank alleges Joiner received another loan in December 2009 and has yet to pay it back. First Clover Leaf says it is still owed more than $76,000 in principal, interest and late fees.

First Clover Leaf Bank is asking to be awarded judgment of more than $766,000 plus court fees.

The bank is represented by attorney Andrew C. Speciale of Edwardsville.
