A suit brought against Ford Motor Co. over a Lincoln Town Car that allegedly caused a man's garage to burn down is set for case management Wednesday.
Plaintiff Danny Dawson is suing Ford on property damage claims worth more than $100,000.
Dawson claims that his father's Lincoln Town Car caught fire while Dawson was storing it in his garage in 2007.
The blaze destroyed the garage and its contents.
Dawson alleges that Ford negligently designed a car with flammable parts.
Ford had sought to have the suit dismissed last year.
Madison County Circuit Judge Andreas Matoesian denied that move in March 2010.
Ford denies Dawson's claims.
The case management conference is set for 9 a.m.
Todd Sivia represents Dawson.
Michael Borree represents Ford.
The case is Madison case number 09-L-1305.
