Couple injured in accident sues Bi-State

A St. Clair County couple say they were injured when they were rear-ended by a Bi-State bus.

Terrie J. and Thomas W. Moss filed a lawsuit March 7 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Bi-State Development Agency.

According to the complaint, the Mosses were driving north on Illinois Route 159 in December 2009. As they approached the intersection of Kadlee Drive in St. Clair County, they say they were hit from behind by a bus owned by Bi-State Development.

Both Terri and Thomas say they were hurt in the crash. The Mosses accuse the bus company of negligence and ask for more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses and court costs.

Attorney Shaun M. Falvey of St. Louis is representing the Mosses.
