Wood River woman sues over I-270 accident

A Wood River woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her vehicle.

Brandy Nasello claims she was driving east on Interstate 270 in St. Louis on March 10, 2009, when defendant Randal G. Crocker struck the back of her vehicle.

Because of the collision, Nasello sustained back, neck, head and arms injuries and was hindered and prevented from attending to her usual affairs, according to the complaint filed Feb. 23 in Madison County Circuit Court. In addition, Nasello incurred medical costs, the suit states.

Crocker negligently failed to reduce his speed to avoid a collision, failed to keep his vehicle under proper control and failed to keep a proper lookout, the complaint says.

In her complaint, Nasello is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.

David R. Jones of the Law Office of David R. Jones in Edwardsville will be representing her.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 11-L-176.
