A St. Clair County rock company is suing an Illinois trucking company for allegedly failing to pay for more than $68,000 in services.
Falling Springs Quarry Company filed the lawsuit Jan. 28 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Curry Ice & Coal Inc.
In the petition, Falling Springs claims it delivered crushed stone to Curry Ice & Coal with an agreement to be paid for the services. Falling Springs claims Curry Ice & Coal has ignored demands to pay the more than $68,000 the company allegedly owes.
Falling Springs accuses Curry Ice & Coal of a breach of contract and asks to be paid the original balance plus more than $6,000 in interest.
Attorney Deanna L. Litzenburg of Belleville is representing Falling Springs.
