A seriously injured Missouri woman says she was struck by a Madison County man driving his vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot.

Katherine Kerin filed a lawsuit on Jan. 20 in Madison County Circuit Court against Bradley T. Isbell.

Kerin claims she was walking in the Taco Bell parking lot at 171 East McArthur in Cottage Hills on Feb. 11, 2009, when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Isbell.

She says Isbell was negligent in driving his vehicle too fast for conditions, failing to keep a proper lookout, and not stopping, slowing down or sounding a warning.

Kerin says she suffered injuries to her head, neck, back and legs. She also claims medical bills and pain and suffering.

In her complaint, Kerin seeks damages of $50,000 plus costs.

Jeffrey S. Singer and William K. Holland of St. Louis are representing her.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 11-L-51.
