An Illinois company seeks more than $150,000 from a couple who it claims defaulted on their home payments.
The Bluestone Group filed a lawsuit Dec. 30 in Madison County Circuit Court against Tom and Amy Noascono.
It claims the Noasconos defaulted on payments they owe under a contract for deed.
"There is due to Plaintiff from Defendants late charges, monthly payments and a balloon payment, after allowing the Defendants all just credits, deductions and set-offs, the sum of $179,711.65, through November 30, 2010," the suit states.
Because the couple defaulted on the payments, the Bluestone Group claims the couple should also be forced to turn over their premises at 7024 Augusta Dr. in the village of Glen Carbon.
