Woman seeks damages after collision in Shiloh

A woman says she was injured after another driver collided with her on Interstate 64.

Mary J. Hrabusicky filed a lawsuit on Nov. 24 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Michael J. Alvarado.

Hrabusicky says she was driving east on I-64 near milepost 18 in Shiloh when she was struck by Alvarado' s vehicle.

She claims Alvarado failed to keep a proper lookout, used excessive speed for conditions, failed to reduce his speed and didn' t properly apply his brakes.

She claims injuries to her head, neck and back and adds that she incurred significant medical costs and suffered lost wages and loss of future income.

In her complaint, Hrabusicky seeks damages deemed reasonable and just by the court and costs.

David C. Berwin of Evans & Dixon is representing her.
