SPRINGFIELD – Thomas H. Wilson has joined HeplerBroom LLC in the Springfield office as a partner. He was formerly a partner at Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen & Cochran, Ltd.
A trial attorney, Wilson has successfully represented clients in several reported state and federal cases involving multi-million-dollar claims. He has significant experience in commercial litigation, including public utility, banking, insurance, construction, civil rights and employment, intellectual property, as well as the defense of personal injury claims including malpractice and general tort liability claims.
Wilson is a 1989 graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law, summa cum laude.
He is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), a Barrister in the Lincoln-Douglas Inns of Court. He was appointed by the federal court as a member of the Central District of Illinois' Committee on Local Rules. He has been named as a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Appeals and Commercial Litigation.
Wilson has provided service to his community through past membership on the board of Family Service Center, is a past Chair of Junior Achievement, and currently assists families in finalizing international adoptions and serves as a firefighter/paramedic with the Chatham Fire Department.
