A 14 year-old boy from Florissant, Mo. has been charged with a class three felony for making a false bomb threat and disorderly conduct after causing the evacuation of the Madison County Criminal Justice Center in Edwardsville yesterday.

The name of the boy is not being released.

The Madison County State's attorney charged the boy Tuesday afternoon.

He was taken into custody by the Madison County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday.

The bomb threat was discovered yesterday at about 2 p.m. by court security personnel, according to Captain Brad Wells, chief of detectives with the sheriff's office.

The threat was contained in a note specifying Monday's date and a 3 p.m. detonation time.
