Parents sue son's girlfriend claiming trespass

Two Glen Carbon residents are seeking more than $150,000 from a woman their son had a relationship with, saying they incurred damages of more than $50,000 after she came onto their property.

Bobbie and Patricia Glass, who live at 14 Ginger Ridge Lane, say their son, Patrick Amrhein, began a relationship with Stephanie Mosler on or before Sept. 3.

When Amrhein's and Mosler's relationship began, the Glasses informed Mosler that she was only allowed on their property at certain times and certain days of the week, according to the complaint filed Nov.
8 in Madison County Circuit Court.

However, Mosler did not follow their orders and visited their property on Oct. 6, the suit states. During the visit, Mosler caused the Glasses damages of more than $50,000, the complaint says, although the Glasses do not describe how they incurred the damages.

In their complaint, the Glasses are seeking compensatory damages of more than $50,000, plus punitive damages of more than $150,000, plus other relief the court deems just.

John D. Wendler of Edwardsville will be representing them.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 10-L-1130.
