Woman, son injured in rear-end crash

A woman and her passenger son were injured in a rear-end collision in Pontoon Beach.

Bonnie Thomas filed a lawsuit on Oct. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court on behalf of herself and her son, Joe C. Thomas, against Christina F. Tindall.

Thomas says she was driving on Highway 111 in Pontoon Beach on Oct. 10, 2008, about 6:25 p.m. when a Hyundai Sonata driven by Tindall collided into the rear of her vehicle. Thomas's son Joe was a passenger in her car.

In her complaint Thomas says Tindall was negligent in failing to prevent her car from colliding into the rear end of Thomas' vehicle.

Thomas says she and her son suffered serious injuries, emotional distress, and pain and suffering. She claims they incurred medical costs.

In her complaint, Thomas seeks damages of more than $50,000 plus costs and other relief to which the Court may judge them entitled.

Attorney John H. Hustava is representing him.
