A Marion County man is suing a woman he says caused him to roll his truck o I-64.
Nathan J. Slininger filed the lawsuit against Gabriela Avila Sept. 27 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Slininger says he was driving his Ford Ranger on I-64 near Caseyville Township on Feb. 13 when Avila merged into the lane behind him. As Avila changed lanes, she allegedly hit Slininger's truck, causing him to crash into another car and roll his Ranger several times.
Slininger says he suffered seriously injures to his back, neck and ribs in the crash.
Slininger is suing Avila for negligence and is asking for more than $50,000 for pain and suffering, medical costs and court fees.
He is represented by attorney Daniel R. Price of Centralia.
