Trial postponed in case against Fast Eddie's and Regal Beagle

Callis

A dram shop trial against Fast Eddie's Bon Air of Alton and the Regal Beagle in Godfrey that had been set for next week has been postponed.

Madison County Chief Judge Ann Callis has instead scheduled case management for Dec. 15.

Plaintiff Randy Hosford is suing the two bars and two men, Dustin Feezel and Dustin Hemker, for injuries he claims he suffered after the bars served the two men alcohol and a brawl erupted in May 2008. They were added to the suit in April.

The suit seeks damages in excess of $200,000 and other relief.

The trial, which had been set to begin Oct. 12, would have been the second in two months against the Regal Beagle, which lost a dram shop trial in September.

No attorneys are listed as representing Feezel and Hemker to date.

Bradford Hunt represents the plaintiff.

Michael Hobin represents the Regal Beagle.

Steven Mikuzis represents Fast Eddie's.

The case is Madison case number 09-L-450.
