Correction

In a Sept. 16 article, "40 corporations settled benzene case before Simmons' plaintiff took on 3M and lost at trial," the Record incorrectly reported that WD-40 had given up its transfer motion and settled a case.

In fact, WD-40 was dismissed from the lawsuit by the plaintiffs, Veto and Brenda Kleinaitis, on June 15, 2007.
