Petroleum company says Roxana business failed to pay for services

A petroleum company claims a Roxana business has failed to pay it more than $200,000 for services and goods provided.

Tri-County Petroleum filed a lawsuit Sept. 13 in Madison County Circuit Court against Zimmerman Trucking and Excavating and Garland Zimmerman.

Tri-County claims Zimmerman Trucking and Garland Zimmerman had an open account with it and promised to pay for all goods and services purchased under the open account.

However, Zimmerman Trucking and Garland Zimmerman have failed to pay Tri-County $284,350.99, according to the complaint.

In addition to the money it says it is owed, Tri-County is seeking attorney's fees, costs and interest.

George E. Marron III of Highland will be representing it.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 10-L-950.
