A status conference has been set in a woman's suit against St. Clair County over an allegedly unpaid weight loss surgery.
Plaintiff Tisa Gartney claims that her insurance through St. Clair County did not pay for the surgery as it was supposed to.
The status conference is set Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
The suit seeks damages of at least $33,000.
St. Clair County denies the plaintiff's claims.
There has been little activity in the 2009 case to date.
The most recent activity prior to the Aug. 3 order setting the case status conference was when presiding judge St. Clair County Circuit Judge Robert LeChien allowed Gartney to submit two letters about the July 2006 surgery.
That decision came in May.
Kevin Boyne represents Gartney.
Alvin Paulson represents the county.
The case is St. Clair case number 09-L-151.
